Harbor Lights Inn overlooks the world's smallest harbor in Depoe Bay, Oregon. It is located on the Central Oregon Coast halfway between Newport and Lincoln City with easy access from both.
Depoe Bay is known as the "Whale Watching Capital" with a whale center run by the Oregon State Parks right on the ocean. Whales can be seen up to 8 months a year, just by standing on the seawall downtown and keeping a close eye on the ocean. During the summer season there are whale watching cruises available with various skippers. Or you can board a zodiac with local whale researcher, Carrie Newell, and see these magnificent creatures up close. Go deep sea fishing, tide pooling, beach combing, shopping or enjoy our local restaurants.
